The five-cylinder engine remains an integral part of the Audi model range and is today one of the last five-cylinder passenger car engines still produced in large-scale series production worldwide.
The current engine, designated the 2.5 TFSI EA855 evo, delivers 294 kW (400 hp) and a maximum torque of 500 Nm. It is currently used in the following Audi Sport models:
- Audi RS 3 Sportback (8Y)*
- Audi RS 3 Saloon (8Y)**
- Audi RS Q3***
- Audi RS Q3 Sportback ****
The engine is also used by SEAT. In the Cupra Formentor VZ5, it produces 390 hp and 480 Nm of torque.
